Wrinkle Relief with Botox® Cosmetic treatments

Dr. Clifton is a Botox® Preferred provider and can customize these treatments to meet your cosmetic needs. After years of squinting, laughing, frowning, and worrying the skin around the eyes and forehead will often develop deep lines and wrinkles called expression lines. Now by using this FDA approved muscle relaxing agent, these lines can be significantly reduced or eliminated. Effects of Botox® are usually seen within 3 days. Maximum benefits are seen within 10-14 days and usually last 3-4 months.

The treatments take approximately 10 minutes. Treatment involves the injection of Botox® into the specific muscle leading to the wrinkles with a very fine needle. During treatment you will experience a minimal pin-prick that does not require anesthetic. Immediately after treatment you may resume normal activity. Side effects are usually mild and temporary. Mild bruising is sometimes seen and resolves within 2-3 days. In rare cases there can be a slight drooping of an eyelid or mild asymmetry of expression which can be corrected.
